Just CELs? Lucky. All I got were failed valve seals, coolant leaks, blown water pump that left me stranded on a freeway, dead steering angle sensor, and the most comfortable seats in the world, and that boss feeling when you fire it up at night, to head off for a long drive.

my 550 did a lot of that. 535 seems to just have lots of little issues, it only stranded me once (fan bearing went and shredded the fan. i didnt realize the jb4 was stuck in max cool or whatever bullshit. worst setting ever). And yes to best seats in the world, holy shit. I hate everything else now

Yeah, exactly the same here. The 550 was a shitshow. Only the water pump on the 535, but I got rid of it juuuust before it was about to need some top-end work, as it’d started idling rough, especially in reverse.

Traded it in for the i3, and haven’t really looked back.

i got an 08 wagon (lci but no idrive update, so mid priced?) fully loaded 535ix. Slowly fixing everything on it. Depending on the week I either fucking hate it and have it perpetually for sale, or I’m going to keep it forever and build it.
